Well if the leader of Garlemald will stay the same I kinda doubt that we will see a true peace with them. At least right now Garlemald is used as the big threat next to the Ascians. Regula was also only fighting on our side for that one threat and if he had survived it I would not even be sure if he woulndt have been punished for that.
Apparently the garleans will be antagonists until 6.0 at least. so not till the end necessarily but they seem to have a time frame for when the actual threat is over, it's just a matter of how it ends.
