I think the tension between those who have grown up and integrated into the society that has been established and those who seek revolution will be an interesting one. Garlean occupation isn't pleasant by the sound of it but likewise those who have an established investment in what has been built are hardly going to throw that away particularly unless the revolutionaries can offer an alternative that is actually giving up what already exists. Let's not forget the last king of Ala Mhigo was a complete disaster. Perhaps that is going to be part of Lyse's story. Discovering that not every Ala Mhigo is willing to lose stability for the sake of freedom unless there is some promise of something better.
