My favourite thing that was slowly being phased in didn't have anything to do with the towns or Beast Tribes. It was the Void Ark.

Occasionally seeing a mysterious ship flying off in the distance in the Sea of Clouds, getting gradually closer as the weeks went by was amazing. A shame the Ark itself once introduced wasn't really anything that remarkable, but the buildup and community speculation was great.

You can kinda see the build up of Rhalgr's Reach already as well. In the revolutions trailer you can see a barren Rhalgr's Reach, compared with a bustling one in the Stormblood cinematic trailer.
