    SE can we get a slight UI change

    I was bored and was moving things around a bit and noticed if you put the loot tab on the left side of your screen it looks almost as if it wasn't designed to be placed anywhere other than the right. The text isn't even centered and if you move your cursor to select the tab, the cursor stays on the left side of the tab, which depending on how close you put the tab next to the edge of your screen, it completely falls off, this doesn't happen on the right side.

    Really it's a non issue and anyone can move things where they want, I just thought it was interesting that this particular UI element seems so awkward.

    Don't forget this horrible thing that someone forgot to fix. I still scratch my head why a thing like this made it into release and nobody bothered to fix since 2.0 launched.
    Notice the system menu background. It's horribly blocky/pixelated while the background on other GUI windows are not. It looks hideous.

    I'd like to move and resize mine and my target's cast bars. I'd also like my debuffs on a target to f'ing show up at the front of the debuff list like they're supposed to.

    They do for me. I'm pretty sure there's a setting for this. Not in game to find the specific setting atm (ha!) but iirc, it's something like "Prioritize own effects" in the target menu. Or something.

    I've never noticed that, given I'm on the pro and sitting further away from the screen, but now that I have a more up close view, it looks very bad, like they copied and pasted from a different menu. Hopefully with 4.0 they will adjust these issues with the new UI they are planning for game.

    Did they say they will rework/refresh the UI? All I know is changes about skills and nothing more.

    I think they said with the new changes to the battle system they will be looking to add new UI elements to better help keep track of certain skills. I don't see why they wouldn't take this opportunity to go through and touch up anything else, there is after all a lot of menus to navigate, a fresh new coat of paint never hurts anything after all. Though these things are likely very small on their list, the overall appearance of menus and customization options does tend to go a long way.

    There is a setting to allow only your debuffs/DoTs to show on a target, but then you may not be getting vital info (e.g. virus antibody).
    When there are more than 50 at the same time (fairly common in 24 man raids), they won't show up until:
    A. another one drops off, and
    B. you reapply your debuff or DoT.

    Simply refreshing it (say, using Iron Jaws to refresh Windbite and Venomous Bite for bard) will not cause it to show. This has been a sore point since the dawn of time 2.0 launch.

    I'm not talking about that setting. I don't use it for the same reasons you list. I mean the one that puts your own effects at the front of the debuff list. It's possible (or at least it was, again i cant verify currently due to the maintenance) to have it so that dots just show up in the order of application regardless of whether you cast them or not., and since you weren't specific I thought you had this set.
    I do agree that in large events that this function breaks, since I've personally posted about that before in another thread somewhere. Your post didn't give any indication that you weren't talking about the display of effects in general. I mostly notice it on my smn where there's a lot of debuffs being applied, which like you say is really only in 24 man content. Usually it's Miasma that fails to show properly and we smn have to guess when it is time to refresh it, but it can happen to any of the core three dots.

    i wish the party menu showed tp numbers, and could fill up from top to bottom or bottom to top, and then left to right or right to left, so that i could place it in any of the 4 corners of my screen and it wouldnt look stupid when the party is somewhat empty.
    Example:

    On either bottom corner it could do this..
    [party member 2][buffs] or [buffs][party member2]
    [party member 1][buffs] or [buffs][party member1]

    If we had the option for pop up hp/mp/tp bars with numerical values above our heads, and floating buffs/debuffs too, id not even use a party list..
