What does it mean in the context of this game? Or at all? Well, the game never tells you. I find it problematic and a little irritating that MMO lingo is printed on the user interface as if you're expecting me to already be familiarized with your nerdy clique and it's language upon starting the game. It is especially unwelcoming of newcomers to the genre.

You can also Google "what does [acronym] mean in FFXIV?" and usually you'll be able to find an answer. If not, asking here or on Reddit will usually get you an answer.

Specialized acronyms and terminology happen everywhere. It can be a little hard to keep track sometimes, but that's why there's Google.
