1. An "Aetheryte Ticket" is required every time Teleport is used. Otherwise, teleportation is disabled. Prepare for a lot of walking and chocobo riding!
This does not apply when quing with the Duty Finder.
2. Items on the marketboard can only be bought and sold at the same city of the retainer that it is assigned too.
Exa: If you made a retainer in U'ldah; people will have to use the marketboard in U'ldah in order to find your goods.
3. Changing retainer's assigned city requires 24 earth hours for contracts and permits to process. During that time, the retainer being transferred is unavailable. All items put up on the marketboard for sale by said retainer will also be removed.
4. Retainer charges 10% of the item being sold in advance, rather than only charging after selling. A player constantly undercutting may end up breaking even or losing money as a result.
5. Using Dark Matter to repair gear only repairs 30%. This means it requires at most 7 pieces of Dark Matter to maximise repairs of one equipment piece.
6. Return cannot be used during a duty. If all party members fall, a "Duty Failed" message pops before kicking everyone out The player or party will have to restart the entire duty from the beginning.
7. Chocobo Companions that fall during combat remain that way for 7 eorzean days (9 hours 20 min in earth time). Attempting to mount or stable fallen companions will display a "This option is not available at this time." message.
8. Most invisible walls leading to cliff-falls are removed. Players that fall off will automatically have their HP reduced to 0, and will be forced to Return unless in a duty. (Sea of Clouds has never been more deadly)
9. Performing more than 15 gathering attempts with a gathering class in less than an eorzean day has a 1% chance of giving players the "Fatigue" debuff for every other gathering attempt -- reduces accuracy for all gathering attempts by 20%. Fixed by sleeping at an inn for 8 eorzean hours (23 mins, 20 sec earth).
10. All environmental traps such as spikes. sand pits, canons, etc; now do triple damage to both players and enemies alike.

11. Players are required to Eat, Hydrate, and Sleep every 12 earth hours after unlocking the airship. Failure to nourish inflicts -1 to a stat. These stat penalties trigger every day the player logs off and logs back on; up until -5 is achieved. Then another debuff is applied.
- Str and Pie for Hunger. At -5; player receives "Starving" which causes causes all critical hits to become normal hits. HP regeneration is also reduced by half.
- Vit and Int for Hydration. At -5; player receives "Diluted" which increases all casting and cooldown times by an extra 3 seconds. MP regeneration and TP regeneration is also reduced by half.
- Dex and Mnd for Sleep. At -5; player receives "Clumsy" which increases equipment wear: causing it to break
faster. Durability loss for using synthesis' in crafting also increases by an extra 5 points.
Fix hunger by consuming any food-related items.
Fix hydration by consuming vegetables, soups, drinks (other than potions), standing in fresh water, or standing anywhere in Coerthas.
Fix sleep by logging off at the inn through clicking on the bed AND remain logged off for 8 eorzean hours (23 minutes, 20 seconds), or by consuming Triple Cream Coffee.
Consuming meals gives "well nourished" buff, which blocks out all other stat penalties from lack of nourishment. Lasts until the player logs off. This buff can be manually disabled.
