I dont know if they mention this yet..
its now possible to enter as 4 members ... but they said they'll balance difficulty as the entering party ...
but it'll still be as hard as doing it with 8 which is harder to do with 4 ppl..

They never said such thing.
Just as difficult? seriously?
Look again. Every monster leading up to Ogre used to be 60. That's just the tip of the iceberg of the nerfs they implemented.
This is due to the new battle system and level differences, not anything to do with the amount of people you take in, or them making it easier for four people. All monsters were lowered, even Ifrit is only Lv. 58, some stronghold monsters and bosses can get 59, but it doesn't make sense to have every monster in there Lv. 60 because of the new damage formulas. If the ogre was still Lv. 66 he might be impossible.
And yeah I don't think they said they would change the difficulty for lower parties, it's mostly for you to experience it and maybe get a few chests, you shouldn't expect full clears with low man unless you are exceptional.
i mean fighting ogre as 4 wont be as easy as doing it with 8 >_>
come on guys use ur brains ...
SE said before that the difficulty will change to the number of entries ...
Real Life > FFXIV
Actually not: they said the dungeons DON'T change difficulty according to party members. So, even if you enter with 4 people, the difficulty is the same as 8
They said in future its going to be adjust accordingly.. I read it somewhere in this forum
Real Life > FFXIV
This is the only thing I seen about dungeons and the lower of the # requied. Basically stating that they have no intention of scaling content with numbers... honestly that is how it should be in my opinion.
Dungeon is doable at 4 just not as easy as having 8.
