If I was stuck in FFXIV with my character, first and foremost I would try to find a way out to get back to my wife and daughter. If there was not a way out, I would become a Astrologian to read fortunes to people/play doctor to make money. I would also become an alchemist to try and find a way to make the fantasia potions for myself, then stockpile to sell for a small fee.

I would most likely chill in Limsa Lominsa after I got all the necessary skills to chill by an ocean.

I would play with all of my minions, ride my ponies through Gridania, and gather as many Lalas as I could and group hug.

Study Allagan technology, find a way to become an Eikon powered with allagan ingenery, helping ascian to bring Zodiarche unified with Hydaelyn.
Then study again to see if I can reverse engineer what made me stuck in Eorzea, to bring part of Eorzea in this world.

with my deep knowledge in craftmanship and my sense of fahsion irl I'd make tons of new cloths and make money from it.
then instead of fishing legendary fish I'd dive into the fishing spot and use shoulder tackle to get them and sell'em
