Character creation.

Hi there all. I was wondering if we could get sliders to edit and fully customize our character. By that I mean eyes position or jaw size and etc. No more presets but more unique approach. That's what I love about mmorpg. Creating unique characters. Picking up from set of presets it's a meh experience for me. I would count in a body editor too but I might be asking for to much already. What do you guys think ? :3

So long as it is fairly reasonable (the butt is flat atm, could use some more 3d), I think sliders everywhere is cool. Although we can avoid the genitalia/"package" sliders, some people are asking for lol. Rather give men a pec slider as the females have a bust slider, get some The Rock chest or whatever lol.

Thats why I play on my PS3 (not on my PS4)! o_o
Have a 16:9 (wich is the standart these days) and your PS3 has 4:3 screen setting.
The TV stretches the 4:3 to 16:9. Everything looks <-20%->
Result: everyone got an ass. Everyone looks like Normal people!

There's little point in adding a 'butt slider' unless they're willing to tackle the much more dire problem of 'Ken Doll' anatomy for male characters. It doesn't have to be anything lewd, just enough to show that there's something there. Make it optional for those with an allergy to male characters who are designed to look like they don't have a dire shortage of testosterone. For those who say it isn't appropriate, look how tastefully it is done in Overwatch (a game enjoyed by players of vastly varying ages) and consider some of the themes explored within FFXIV itself.

I do hope that we see a major update to character creation at some point. It's sorely needed, especially for some of the neglected playable race/gender combinations.

For those who say it isn't appropriate, look how tastefully it is done in Overwatch (a game enjoyed by players of vastly varying ages) and consider some of the themes explored within FFXIV itself.

There is quite a difference from having an existing package and adding a slider to choose the size of the dangle. I wouldn't mind having the bulge actually exist in comparison to female (or at least a bit more so, they seem fairly similar).
