Job Mounts

So many mounts how come we don't have mounts for each job?
I get that the tanks have their mounts as a means to get ppl to play tanks but if you think about it whm/conjurer have their own mount too, the unicorn.
Do you guys think we'll ever get job mounts? Does anyone else but me even want them lol

I think tanks and Conjurers get mounts primarily to encourage people to level tanking and healing classes, which are sorely needed in most MMO's out there.

Although having a mount for every job would be nice, I don't think it's really neccesary.

I agree with this wholeheartedly! Give me a fish baby mount for Scholar! we shall reign terror upon all of eorzia!

Well the Unicorn mount for cnj pretty much doesn't even matter as any can just get a ARR primal version (just without the horn) which are way cooler anyways. So really only tanks get a unique mount.

Conjurer gets a mount because the game only has one healing class. They needed people picking conjurer so that some low level healers were running around when the game first relaunched.

Ninja should get the frog from their new attack. I want to see if we could survive the salt of a Naruto mount.

The only mount I've come to used is my chocobo. The other's are just for bragging rights and showing them off. I rarely use anything but my amazing Jeff.

I use my chocobo in PVP a lot. Deck him out in GC barding, be in the GC uniform, people cant resist chasing me. They will kill me for sure but I just drew a lot of them away and gave the team time to overake them. I am the decoy! And all thinks to my chocobo!

That fun story out of the way, I agree with you that chocobos are great. I want to see the new AF3 gear given a barding version for each. I think that would be cool.

The mounts were added as a incentive for players to level a healer (in ARR) and Tanks. I want them to add more job mounts, but I dont think SE will do this, since the previous mounts were added for a reason.

Given how long it takes the devs to make anything in this game, practically I think their resources could be better spent elsewhere in the game, given they would need to make a new exclusive mount for each job released moving forward.
That said, I like the idea.
