Considering they already had the mount nearly 100% ready and even showed it in a video and it looked fine, I don't see why not, though I'm not sure what it's flying form could look like..

I'm fine with it. That being said, I don't see it getting added until a possible promotional tie-in to the FF7 remake or later once we travel to a more appropriate setting.
This. I could see it as a particularly savage reward in some tech-centric raid against the Garleans should something like that drop in this coming expansion, but otherwise I'd prefer the overall experience of an expansion without something that doesn't yet fit it, even if I might really want that thing itself.
Also, I'd hate to have a bike called "100% complete" without inertia or the appearance of having a suspension, as per all previous mounts in this game. If we're getting a bike, I'd like it to have some modicum of associated physics. We could then apply that to our horses, too — you know, those mounts that would fit this expansion.
I've wanted this thing for a while too. Its been in sig since creation, haters can hate. My worry is it will end up on mog station or a veteran rewards though. There's too much weird junk already in this game to try to justify that it doesn't fit, no lore, breaks immersion, scarred you emotionally.
TBH if it is added we can expect it to be Mogstation. It just sort of screams mogstation.I've wanted this thing for a while too. Its been in sig since creation, haters can hate. Honestly, the game already has a lore advance civilization to provide the technology to create this mount.
The Garlean Empire has shown to be advance enough to create a motorcycles and cars as we seen them being able to create flying ships fully armored with holgraphic computers with walkers that shoot photon/laser machine guns and fire crazy hyperbeams.
not to mention we do not have any knowledge what Garlemald is like as they have kept majority of their advance technology exclusively in Garlemald territory to prevent other civilizations from taking too much of their technology and to allow them to develop with minimal interference from their own advancements once they are conqured for studying the conqured civilization's ability to develop differently in culture and their own technology.
For all we know Garlemald could be full FF15 land with magiteck Smartphones. Heck the linkpearl is revealed by Cid that it is a just a small headphone with a very small computer chip inside but people of Eorzea think it is magic that allows it to function. Cid does not bother to go too much into this with the people of Eorzea because the civilization in Eorzea has yet to have a proper understanding of Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering.

Id be fine with it if not for one reason.
It has wheels.
Other than cogs and the occasional broken carriage i can not think of one item, mount or such that has wheels in eorzea. The caravans use ballons and float. Most mechanical things skip the wheel phase and go straight to flying. NPC's make fun of the idea of bicycles.
And to be honest, the model shown of the bike just looks unfinished and ugly. It is waaaay too shiny and smooth. If they roughed up the textures im sure id change my opinion.
These ... things look to be a merger of motorcycle and beast (could the Garleans be experimenting living things now?)

It is most likely they have been doing this for a very long time now by creating artifical life as Bioweapons just like the Allagans. We never seen these ebcause we never been close enough to Garlemald's territory until 4.0 which we know so far that the Garlean Empire is holding back their most advance technology for defending their country.
Their invasion forces have been less techy for their soldiers because they don't want too much of their technology fall into their enemy hands.
the way things are going it is a trend that the closer we get to Garlemald the more advance in technology and units the Garlean Forces become. However, they seem to keep residents that grew up from garlean occupation from getting acces to their technology and keeps them using their own country's technology level of weapons as we see among the garlean forces in this Benchmark being Ala Mhigans born during garlean occupation working as part of the Garlean Forces.
