Good macros, guys, but remember to use the command /micon at the end of the macro. It will work the same and the game has one less string of code to read before the action you want it do do...
Want a heal? How much money you got?
I thought you were asking for a funny, cute, or cool saying to use for a raise macro. I personally don't recommend macros as have been described so far as they can hinder you in small ways. Placement macros, swiftcast macros, and acknowledge ment macros are about it I'd say. Also place the /micon as the last line to prevent adding additional time to the macro itself.
I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.
I highly discourage the use of macros for primary GCD abilities for classes. If you're looking to save space on a BLM hotbar, you could do what I do and have a pair of macros that copy a Fire hotbar and a Blizzard hotbar onto your main hotbar. It requires a couple of auxiliary hotbars that you don't use to store the hotbars, and if you make any changes to the main hotbar you need to copy them over, but it basically compresses 10 actions (Fire I-IV + Flare, Blizzard I-IV + Freeze) into 5 slots plus one button for the macro that swaps them.
I tried this for a while myself, but I was occasionally getting confused with the greyed-out image thinking I was out of MP. If that doesn't bother you, you can use winsock's method of just putting the three actions in the same macro; you just can't get it to update the icons. I'd personally recommend just using the action itself on each healer, though.and since every healing class gets their own ressurection skill I was wondering if there was any macro to mash them all together?
The <tt> lines cause you to attempt to attack the target of your target; useful for a healer who wants to keep the tank targeted whilst DPSing, though I fail to see the merit of using it on a BLM for Thunder.
