    No Audio PC

I've had this problem since yesterday. I logged in and there was no audio. Did the basic troubleshooting already to no avail. Sounds work on my other games.

    • Checked game sound settings
    • Checked computer sound settings
    • Restarted FF14 Client
    • Restarted PC
    • Updated Drivers
    • Turned DX11 on/off
    • Changed window size (apparently some people fixed this issue using this method)
    • Changed speakers/headset

    Specs:
    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
    Processor: i7 6700k (I'm not overclocked BTW)
    GFX" GTX 970
    RAM: 16GB
    Board: MSI Z170A Gaming M5

I wish I could resolve this ASAP. I always sleep with FF14 logged in with Night in the Brume playing in Orchestrion... (silly, I know)

Did you check the sound mixer control panel and made sure FF wasn't set to mute? Your main settings might be ok, your mixer might be on mute I had that Issue a while back.

Sound in this game is incredibly finicky. If my headset gets unplugged when the game is running I have to shut it down completely and restart it before I can get sound again. Not that the problem you are having is the same that I have, but it can make trouble shooting the sound even more frustrating if you have to keep reloading the game to check if the things you are trying are actually having an effect.
