Speed running is pretty much the community norm now for POTD. Most people are just there to level since the weapons are only 255, plus the expansion is out soon. If you are going to go against the majority then form your own group.

Not in my experience. There is almost always at least 1 or 2 looking to clear all the chests and such (aside from myself). My logic on it is: a speedrunner trying to force his way defeats his own purpose. There's a couple ways to address this: normalize silver chest chances to increase your aetherpool gear, or simply split the queues.
