[Dev question] Do you know about the player devision in palace of the dead?

Speed running is pretty much the community norm now for POTD. Most people are just there to level since the weapons are only 255, plus the expansion is out soon. If you are going to go against the majority then form your own group. At the very least you can try asking your group if they are ok with getting chests when you first zone in.

Not in my experience. There is almost always at least 1 or 2 looking to clear all the chests and such (aside from myself). My logic on it is: a speedrunner trying to force his way defeats his own purpose. There's a couple ways to address this: normalize silver chest chances to increase your aetherpool gear, or simply split the queues.

I know there was threads on this but i am getting a little worried of lack of response that it is an issue and that it exists. Today my 2 friends enter palace of the dead. The one has all 60 and pretty much does not care anymore what happens, she is only there to help the other friend.

It is nice seeing some posters make sense, and I agree. I will never understand for the life of me why that pair of speedrunners chose to MPK me and my friend over trying to find silver chests. So they wasted 15 minutes of their time (they where the cause of the run going slow, ironically) by forcing a fail.

Sometimes I get this too where the person just runs straight to the gate even if someone is dead/needs help. And I'm like "UM".
