But now I'm going to instantly log in with either my inventory spammed, or I won't get credit for the achievements I've completed.

For the achievement part first you have to talk to the NPC to even unlock that type of Achievement. So let's say you got Miner level 50 there a Achievement that give you a awesome Wep for it? you have to first talk to that NPC that unlock miner achievement then you get your reward.

So i don't think you be full of stuff from achievement when you have to first unlock it to even get the reward.

I don't know why people are complaining about this. As someone said in another thread

100gil = 105gil
1,000gil = 1,050 gil
100,000gil = 104,000gil
1,000,000gil = 1,004,000gil

It's a tiny little gil sink that is hardly noticeable.

about the market wards. i have sold loads of stuff in my retainer. and i have paid a tax every time. if i can pay a tax to sell and not be bothered, i'm sure you can pay a tax to buy. but if "VAT" is to much for you, try running :P

I am not seeing how you will get scammed on the item buyout, unless you're assuming what you are paying for is an HQ item. For that yeah, you are kind of forced to still hoof it in the wards, but usually the minor patches are out not too long after major ones so hopefully it will get adjusted soon, still personally looking forward to being lazy when buying stuff.

you have just solved your own problem. when it comes to buying normal gear or mats, use direct purchase. but if you want HQ check at the retainers for what your buying. we were told in the past that the upgrade to the market system was a real problem for the programmers. we will get HQ and materia showing up on our searches very soon with any luck in 1.20b. i personally am glad they are leaving this for 1.20b and not delaying 1.20 any longer
