MSQ Broken "NEver Forget"

Steps:
1. Memeroon wanted Scarlet Earrings. I gave him earrings. It did not progress the quest, but now I don't have earrings.
2. Memeroon wants earrings, but I don't have them. I'm effectively cockblocked on my MSQ.
3. I spent 3 days with in-game support and nothing. I was finally directed here.

It's a key item so check that tab in your inventory. Most likely it's still in there.

And it's teteroon that wants the ear rings so try that npc instead.

I wish it were that easy. I wish it were there in my key items list. I wasted 3 days messing with in-game support, and all I get are automated responses. I even recorded a video of my issue, and mouse over to my key items list--nothing there. It's broken.

It should be noted that I did have the earrings at one time. I had them when he first asked for them. I gave him the earrings, and then he just did this. He took them, and then just acts like I haven't given them to him and wants them again. But I can't get them again. I literally back tracked and talked to every single fuggin NPC in this quest chain to see if anyone would just give me a copy to hand to him, but nothing. This is where it locks up at, as shown in the Youtube video.

At first I wasn't even upset. I thought it was just a shitty bug and the in-game customer service would take care of it, but the way they handled it was terrible. I would have rathered they not respond than a "Let me direct you to the in-game player help window." Seriously? If I could have fixed this myself I would have. And then I had to wait another freaking day just to get another response, which is to check the forums? Why can't someone at least look ito this instead of just passing my request around without anyone actually reading it.

It feels like no one cares, and that's a terrible way to feel.

Did you try talking to Teteroon at Memeroon's Trading Post (14-24)?

Yes, I mean Teteroom. That's the NPC I'm speaking to in the Youtube video too.

It's been over 24 hours. How do I know this is getting looked into? I don't mind waiting if I know things will get better. But this whole process has been 4 days now. I tried in-game support. Now I'm trying the forums. What's next? Do I just start calling any random phone number I find and throwing out emails?

This is my MSQ. I literally cannot progress in the game without it. It's a game-breaking bug. It's not something I can just pretend isn't broken and check back in a week or so. Again, I don't mind waiting, but it's shitty to be paying a monthly sub not knowing that anyone is even trying to resolve my issue.

Does anyone know what the average response time is for these things?

Hey Jackhatchet, I don't know if it will work or if it's even possible. But have you try to drop the quest and going back to where you got it originally and checking if they will give you the quest item again? Like I said not sure if it will work or if it's even possible but worth a shot. Hope it works, and good luck I know how frustrating it can be dealing with this type of bugs.

Unfortunately, I can't abandon a Main Story Quest. I would have gladly spent even 30 minutes to redo the entire quest than to have waited 4+ days to have a GM essentially do the same thing.
