    Regarding the "FFXIV and Amazon.com® Free DLC Giveaway!" Promotion on the Lodestone

    This promotion says this :

    "FINAL FANTASY XIV and Amazon.com® are partnering to offer a unique opportunity for North American FINAL FANTASY XIV players!"

    My name's Luc, a Canadian, North American player. Your partner, Amazon.com, refuse any transactions done by anybody NOT residing in the United States of America.

    I am very disappointed as I believed my country, thus I, was eligible as clearly stated on the Lodestone page to find out Amazon.com refuse any transaction deals with me.

    Could you please correct this issue on further announcements and promotions moving forward ?

    If the term "North Americans" refers to the northern-most countries and territories of North America, Then this includes the USA, Canada, Greenland, Bermuda and France since the Isle of St. Pierre and Miquelon is part of it.

    A work around to your issue is listed Amazon DLC Promotion Question thread from last year.

    The work around, purchase an eligible physical game disc from a company that ships to Canada.

    You are correct, these things should be addressed by SE for a more comprehensive solution going forward.
