stormblood early acess code invaild

i got the game off steam then pre ordered stormblood threw amazon, got the code to enter at the site, did that and put that code in mog station pre order area and it says code invaild. what do i do

Did you buy the Steam version of Stormblood? The PC version won't work for you.
Reminds me of when Heavensward came out and it was a grim reminder of the differences between the two client on the same platform.

i got the physical copy from amazon since digital was sold out dunno which it gave me

If you bought the game on Steam you need to buy all expansions on Steam (and unless they change something, all future expansions too). It's not possible to convert a Steam PC version to a non-Steam PC version (or vice versa) so you'll need to get it cancelled/refunded and purchase it again through Steam. This is also how it was for Heavensward sorry!

I can't think you'll have too much problem getting a refund from Amazon as the actual product hasn't shipped yet (all you have is the preorder code) and if you get any problems, point out that their website doesn't show about not compatible with the Steam version (at least on US and UK sites, I didn't check every Amazon site...)
