Just got to level 40 weaver quest, and it is legitimately unfair!

so to be blunt, anything that has to do with RNG mob drops from enemies sucks.

however, that is not the part that is unfair.

what is not fair is to have the leather-worker DoH require materials available for collection by a DoL class, while the weaver DoH class has to farm for two HQ RNG mob drop items upon level 40.

with the availability of DoL obtainable materials such as Alumen, DoH classes like leather-worker had a better chance to craft HQ items: they at least where in control of how often they would obtain the item in High Quality.

would it be so broken to add another DoL obtainable ingredient requirement to woolen yarn and subtract the fleece required by one?

By the time you're level 40, HQ anything shouldn't be all that difficult, if you handle your skills well.

That said, I'm not a big fan of the wool/felt materials, myself.

But, there's always retainers set as a combat class that could go farm stuff for you, I guess.

There's also the fact that even long before 40, especially on wvr, you should be able to easily make enough gil to just have someone make it for you if you're finding it that hard to hq yourself. Although if you do find it that hard to hq @ 40 there are other problems.
