I bet most of you have experienced this before:
Now, let's talk about Frontlines. For those of you who haven't done any PVP yet, let me explain this. You queue up for a random Alliance Raid, maybe one of the old ARR ones. You know that it's a bad time to queue but you just want to get it done.
You wait and wait and wait and- Oh, the Duty popped!
[Tanks: 3/3] [Healers: 6/6] [DPS: 14/15]
"A party member has withdrawn from the Duty. Finding new member."
Oh well, let's wait a bit. It should pop again soon.
[Tanks: 3/3] [Healers: 5/6] [DPS: 15/15]
"A party member has withdrawn from the Duty. Finding new member."
Queue resets completely.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Frontline Duties can start even if not everyone in the queue hits "Commence".
The confirmation window can show "68/72" and still teleport you into the Duty.
There hasn't been a single time where the remaining party slots haven't filled up during the preparation phase.
So, my question is the following:
Why can't other Duties, especially the Alliance Raids, be like Frontlines?
It would be so much better to let us commence the Duty with 23 players instead of letting a single Netflix watcher ruin the queue for everyone else. It would be a major improvement in my opinion.
What are your thoughts on this?
