Anyone getting the "Maintenance" screen after trying to log into your account from boot?

I crashed from a server issue earlier and haven't been able to get back on. Wondering if others are having this issue or should I go through troubleshooting it with SE.

Yea, I've even restarted my PC, but it still gives me the message.

The one thing I don't want to have to do is reinstall FFXIV, since I just got it to actually work after formatting my HDD a while ago.

So anyway, it's just me it seems this is happening to?

not logged in at moment so not sure but
also make sure cookies not blocked might have something to do with that.

I just reinstalled FFXIV and I still have the "Maintenance" screen showing up. No one is getting this?

I'm not, on Wutai.. but I was able to login!

I know this may sound stupid, but try clear your internet files through Internet Explorer (the login app runs though IE)

If no luck then, try ask in bug forum.

I remember having this problem when the game FIRST came out, and i was the one who posted the solution

I'm not sure if it still applies to your issue or not.


But when tons of us had this maint screen issue, it was due to blocking cookies on Internet Explorer.
check your cookie settings and make sure it's not set to block all cookies.

open IE, go to internet options, privacy tab, click advanced button, accept cookies.
might want to also go to the general tab and click delete, and clear out temp files as mentioned, and include cookies
