Tattered/weathered looking gear/glamour

So I don\\'t mean for this post to be begging for something to be added I was mainly just curious on the general opinion of people.

While I find the gear in this game to be beautiful, I kind of wish there were some pieces that looked old and weathered. The only ones I can really think of are the demon skirt of casting and the drk af body kind of. I guess with everything looking so perfect and aristocratic the aesthetic starts to become bland to me.

Anyone else feel similar?

I can't say I feel similar, but I do hope that, going into Ala Mhigo and Doma, we'll see more options like this made available. After all, we'll be going into places occupied by the Empire where those friendliest to us will be living in deplorable conditions, or so its been hinted at, anyways. I mean, look at a lot of the Ala Mhigan refugees in Thanalan, wearing relatively little. The guys can't even afford shirts half the time.

Currently there are skins on certain NPC's with the regular armor looking bruised and weathered. I would love the whole set of them to be available as opposed to a few individual pieces

I wish the Void Ark Skirt of Fending will become an dyeable lvl 1 glamour item for all classes. It's my absolute favourite skirt in the game. It really looks tattered. Realistically, not like the Demon Skirt from World of Darkness, wich overdid the style a bit :x

Most of the more weathered looking stuff tends to be from dungeons, the Expeditioners set is a good example of battered looking glamour gear off the AH though.

I forgot about that one. I like both of them though. And some body slot pieces with a simillar look would be nice too. I guess I want my caster glamour to be a bit more old witch looking.

There is nothing wrong with requesting armours, its not begging, so if you like to see something in the game, just ask (if the developers deliver is another story) for it. I would like to see some tattered gear aswell.

Although it's not *quite* the same, there is a "Plain Long Skirt" that's craftable that can be worn by both males and females. And also the Griffin Leather Skirt of Fending/Maiming.

I'm like you, bud. I like my classes to look like they've been in a war, not a parade. But unfortunately what I'm currently wearing is all I can find. I've tried dying other pieces of gear into brown but it just doesn't look right, it's just a solid color. Maybe, someday,. . . .
