    Panoramic Ifrit

I accidentally mapped my screenshot to alt-tab instead of f6, otherwise i'd have much better shots. I'll get more. It's convenient, i can view the entire ring of fire at one time, so no matter where ifrit is, or where the bombs and lava appear, i can see them.

    Ooooh neat-o!

Someday, I'll need to find an intense gamer with the mad setups that you have and smooch off it for a session just to *feel* it.

You mean it doesn't now? Please explain. I've been playing on 3 screens for quite some time. (and in 3D too)

Ooh... I want to try 3 monitor set up but I don't know if my graphics card would take it.

It doesn't have true 3monitor support, if you'll notice the far wide ends are very distorted. It's 5760x1200 resolution.

Eyefinity is a special AMD feature. People have been using 3 monitors for a while but Eyefinity actually turns them all into 1 big monitor....
i.e. three 1920x1080 monitors side by side by side end up with a resolution of 5760x1080
You need an AMD card from the HD 5000 series or newer... and at least one of the screens has to use the display port output from the card (either with display port input or DP to DVI/HDMI adapter which are a lot more expensive than you would think)
Also, higher resolutions tax your card a lot more... so 5760x1080 (or dare I say 2560x1600 times three for 7680x1600) is a GINORMOUS resolution... so you'd want one of the higher end cards with like 2gb of RAM.... like an HD 6970
or possible go for a lower resolution and pump out three times 1280x720 for 3840x720

I think it's made that way because the 2 outer monitors are made to be angled in. So it's not a flat 3 monitor scene.... more like angled peripherals

I'd hate to do it on a radeon card. I have dual gtx580's and barely squeeze 40-50fps out at 5760x1200, which means 3d is almost not an option without scaling the graphics back. According to this chart, I'd need 3x 6970's to get the same performance out of the ati cards.

It's supposed to be like that, I don't see how it means there is no 3 monitor support.

Based on the fact that we are both playing it on 3 monitors and have no issues, I'd say it has 3 monitor support.

I run FFXIV on 3 screens in 3D from time to time (mostly I use 2D) using 2 Nvidea GTS 450s. I get around 60 frames per second with my resolution set at 5040 X 1050. I find it hard to believe that you would 'need' that much horsepower to do the same with Radeon cards, or does ATI just suck that badly these days?
