Looking to join a roleplay server (Not Balmung or Gilgamesh)

I've been playing on Odin server for awhile, but I'm getting bored fast. My FC is very focused and determined to get me to lvl 50 as fast as possible to use me in raids and I'm generally not having a good time there.

I've been a roleplayer since I found the Internet and heard FF14 has a good roleplaying community, but I can never get on Gilgamesh or Balmung with the character creation. I work most days, so I can't be up at 2 AM - 7 AM to try and sneak into that window of time just to get an in.

Are there any servers besides Balmung or Gilgamesh that have strong roleplay communities? Or at least a reputable FC me and my fiance can join as a healer/tank team on another server (preferably NA)?

Couldn't you just transfer to skip the lockout?

It does skip it. I've done it and so have a few people in my FC. That said, you do need to make sure you don't have your newbie leaf.

No it doesn't. I transferred to Balmung during prime time with no issues and the server was definitely closed at the time.

There are a couple of small communities working to make a presence, my own on Brynhildr and another on Siren. If you want to feel us out we both have enjin forums I'll have to find the other thread it was discussed in for the Siren group or go home and get my bookmark of it. That's very interesting as I had to specifically wait for the world to be open on three different occasions - going to Hyperion, Leviathan and most recently Balmung.

Transfers operate on their own lockouts specific to their system/service and not the general character creation lockout.

I can also vouch for this. My friend wanted to transfer to Tonberry but it was NOT available on several occasions that she checked. Transferring is not 100% guarantee you will be able to do so straight away.
