What to stockpile for 4.0 for crafters and gatherers?

I'm collecting grade V materia and all the materials needed for lvl 60 gc turnins
Also have a stack of the xp buff manuals you can get from squad missions for crafting and gathering
Besides that, make space on your retainers :P

I m not sure about the Materia Vs... the cap on the redscrips will be removed thus makes them easy to obtain. And maybe the airships can get them in bulk as well? Anyway the prices for crafting Vs crashed on my server.

It can't hurt to have Vs stashed ahead of time anyways. That's time you don't need to spend farming red scrips. I'd also recommend stashing some IVs too.

As for what to stockpile, it's rather difficult to tell exactly what. Stuff for level 60 crafts for GC turnins are a good choice, as are the most common HW mats. I've been stocking up on ores, sands, and logs from HW for the most part.

I'd also recommend stockpiling cheap 40-50/58-60 common mats such as Fleece, Snurble Tuft, Electrum Ore, Cobalt Ore, Silkworm Cocoon, Darksteel Ore, Spruce Log, Crawler Silk, Adamantite Ore, Gold Ore, Birch Log, etc.

Thanks for posting this OP. I was wondering what I need to stock up on. You can make some cheap food also for leveling. You can also save spoils from Diadem to buy crafting materials.

The price of fine sand has skyricketed on my server, and the only things it is used for is housing items.
