Don't worry about the gil transferring, it's not unusual at all for players to trade millions to each other, especially if you're friends/FC members. I'm sure SE do watch money transactions, but if you came into the money legitimately you have nothing to worry about.

But to answer your second question, with the current system, no you cannot transfer a personal house and they haven't mentioned anything about that changing either. To transfer a personal house from one person to another you would need to relinquish (demolish) the house/plot and then the other person would need to buy it again straight at the full price.

Good luck getting the house though. I have had enough to buy a large house for about a year now, and have yet to see a plot open due to how populated our server is (Balmung as well. Hi). And I believe SE stated they are going to allow people to visit and explore the housing area in the expansion, but not actually make buying them available the moment the expansion is launched...which means everyone and their brother will be camping the fuck out of the expansion area the moment they DO allow purchasing land. Which means about 5 minutes after 'open season' everything will be taken up, and the housing crisis will start again.
