Whitemage new job skill (seen in benchmark)

Any idea of what it could be? I am really sure its not just a simple aoe heal as whm already got assize as additional aoe heal and wouldnt need any other. The animation also doesnt look/sound like it would generate a shield and all what is left then is some kind of party utility. Yay!

It has to be some utility. If WHM gets no utility in 4.0 it might as well be removed from the game since the other 2 healers can heal every fight game and contribute better personal DPS or boost party DPS.

It's has to be some kind of utility as you can see some kind of effect happening to the surrounding party members after the cast. What this effect is though...

Also, what is up with the SCH applying a tether to the fairy and WAR? It appears we they are getting a new ability with some utility as well, but I'm just being speculative. I'm pretty sure it buffed the WAR though.

To me it looked a LOT like a party-wide shield - AND it looked like when the boss hit the tank, it triggered a mini-Holy effect... XD

If you play the video at 0.25 speed the Holy effect seem to actually be cast by the Paladin, maybe sort of like a new Flash with damage? I don't know. I'd love for WHM to have a mini-Holy like AST's Gravity(!), but in my opinion the Holy-effect most likely is not cast by the WHM. Sadly. So it must either be a healing spell or some kind of buff.

I felt like the whm cast a mini holy around all party members, Just that since we zoomed into the PLD so we didn't see others... The PLD casted a shield i think.

Also yeah eos seemed to have buff the war... Like after being roused ?

there is no WAR, that's a DRK. and the PLD IS casting the holy. you can reduce the speed of the video in youtube to 0.25, then you can clearly see how the WHM casts his aoe something with an party wide animation. right after that it zoomes on the PLD, he finishes his cast and the mini holy appears.

how should a WHM even benefit from a skill wich pops mini holys around the party members? WHM already has really good aoe with holy, aero 3 and assize, while PLD is lacking in regards of aoe and could really benefit from a mini holy and it fits PLD lore. so why should they give WHM such a skill instead of the mini holy for PLD?

Taking a look at the video I totally agree with others speculations that its a party wide buff!! That would be totally awesome for WHM and I'm stoked for it! And that PLD "Almost Holy" spell looks awesome! PLD needs some nice AOE moves! And some white magic works great with PLD lore!

And that SCH tether!!! I'm so curious to see more about it. What does it do? and will the affect vary on the fairy you are using??
