It's not just Wutai.

National Novelist Writing Month probably scratched the surface on the servers (primary reason why I disappeared in November). (highly doubt it)

Then we have Skyrim and Revelations climbing in people's windows and snatchin' dey time up. And then it kinda works out since they may have already completed all the content they cared to do in this patch and they're waiting for the next to come out.

Wutai server...havent logged in for a few days, and now...
Half the server population like last week is gone.

I dont blame anyone for leaving / taking breaks because i've been
bored of this game for a few weeks now.

Nothing new happening & it's the same old grind going on.

Same thing happend last patch, alot of people around patch day,
then few days after... hardly anyone around.

I'll doubt i'll be sticking around for much longer, not even for
a Gobbue... w/e mount or even Moogle weapons.
(I still havent gotten any ifrit drops...btw thanks SE for nothing)

I just like to say... SquareEnix...you are doing something very wrong and
i wish i could tell you what but i just dont know what it is.

It feels like you really are pushing the limits, the limits on how long
people can wait and stick around for something new to come along.

Whats worse...its December 8th, no Christmas event, no Snow weather in-game (or even in RL).
Very..very dissapointed.

Im sure the Dev Team is working hard, but will it be worth it?
Maybe you should re-think some plans.

Now... feel free to flame me for pointing out my opinion gameplay feedback.

I feel ya.

I usually use this time to craft/gather & what not. It's starting to feel like when the earthquake happened. So many people dropping + the holidays making it worse.

Most the LS has been taking a week or 2 break until Moogle because we'll be spamming it like mad. Rinse & Repeat.

They could easily allow players to make furniture and such and that alone would keep people busy for a LONG time.

This might be very true, however we lack a place to place / use these furnitures etc.
If we dont have that it would be as pointless as crafting feels now, grind purpose only and no use but for selling.

Ahh on a side note, to anyone thinking im a FF hater... you'd be very wrong.
I really like FFXIV, FFXI and most older FF games.

Wutai server has a very special place in my mind, so many old friends,
unique player names that i'll always remember. ( you all know how you are <3 )

I just feel abit sad that these people and gameplay is somewhat fading away... ; ;

Hm yes, must be hard for SE to keep with all these game releases.

I myself got totally hooked on Star Wars: The Old Republic (beta), so i guess im no diffrent.
But it didnt stopped me from dropping in to FFXIV now & then, just sad...it feels like something is dissapearing fast.

Or cuz im all alone now & no ls ; ; (seems there was some minor drama while i wasnt online, rest idk)

It certainly doesn't help that Kari Wahlgren and Jennifer Hale are lending out their voices to said project that has peaked my curiosity more than it normally would have... the dark side... so evil...

Looking forward to more voice work in FFXIV as the game moves forward.

FFXIV with 100% voice acting will help alot, it sure got my attention in SW: ToR,
that was the most impressive thing in any game ive played in a long time.

With all the 2.0 promises, i have no doubt FFXIV will be one of the best mmo's out there,
But it's a long / dangerous stretch to keep alive until that day.

Heh, I'm on the same boat. Desperately trying to convince myself of staying on XIV, but the constant news of delays, half-baked patches and ultimately the huge lack of things to do in comparison to SWTOR are not helping.

I think the opening story.cutscenes set the precedent for me that there would be more scenes.

Grand Company speeches too.
