It's kind of weird that you posted about hunts and fates in the OP and then complain at everyone who doesn't talk about gathering.

Its not weird at all, its very typical for an Ama_Hamada thread.
But honestly the whole gathering node thing, as long as you plan ahead and keep an eye on time either via sites or ingame /echos and the like its really quite simple. You only miss out if you purposely don't keep track of the time / absent mindedly do something else which really begs the question do you really care you missed that node if you weren't keeping track?
As a 4 star crafter and gather I think I can say they wouldn't. I know timed nodes are annoying and all, but some stuff you have to deal with. But honestly the whole gathering node thing, as long as you plan ahead and keep an eye on time either via sites or ingame /echos and the like its really quite simple. If materials that were traditionally gotten from timed nodes were made to be obtainable all the time, then there would less reason to buy them. It helps the economy but keeping it controlled so that the market isn't flooded any more than it already is.

I usually don't even care even if I was keeping track. Half of the time the alarm goes off and I'm like ugh effort and don't even bother. I make more money on a single Zurvanite barding right now than I would with even several rounds of max yield on the best nodes. Its not weird at all, its very typical for an Ama_Hamada thread.
