I can completely get behind adding in an Aetheryte to perhaps Whitebrim in Coerthas. Just because I remember all the running I had to do there for leve turn-ins when I was leveling my crafters. >.>

With regards to the Hinterlands, it stands to reason that most Aetherytes are located in areas where there are settlements. Hinterlands doesn't really have such settlements outside of Idyllshire, which already has an Aetheryte. So there's not really anywhere to place one. It wouldn't make sense to place it in Illuminati territory or near Matoya's Cave. Neither of those would approve of an Aetheryte, I'm sure.
