
You misunderstood the "actually dangerous" part, I'm talking about mobs that could kill you, not just the nuisance enemies that we have right now


Something similar to a Fel Reaver then, and again all you need to do is learn to deal with it. To me there is no real way to make Open world "dangerous" PvE wise without making it a mayor annoyance, there is only way to really do it: Open World PvP, not gonna happen in this MMO.



The maps just need more underground labyrinth caves full with beastmen, where you can't fly


In the last maps, both of the quest hubs have chocobo routes. If you don't want to autorun on your own chocobo, just take taxi and go pick a drink or pat your cat in the minute it takes to arrive. The "I want everything right on this instant" ... sheesh. I'd understand it if it was long run but it's not.For the last 2, those are high traffic little towns that have a lot of quest points where it would be nice just to teleport there to get them done quicker. In 1.0 there was a lot of mini aetherte's that can be looked into like those spots and Mor Dhona ( 30.1 , 12.7 ) These places have a high traffic to side quests and leaves and it is kind of nonsense there is no aetherte there.

I get where you're coming from and I actually agree, I think the OP is more upset that it can take a full minute or more to cross Azys Lla to get to a fate that should be doable in the remainging time of say, 5mins; but actually turns out to be 3mins when you finally arrive and soloing some of these fates can be difficult still even with bobo.In the last maps, both of the quest hubs have chocobo routes. Hence why I was only answering to his last point. Even though I don't agree with the other ones either much due the reasons already stated in the thread. The places are far because they are in big zones which are supposed to be big. Not every spot in the game has to be reached in a minute. If you see fate that has too little time left, look for another with longer time, since you already know the traveling will take time. I can completely get behind adding in an Aetheryte to perhaps Whitebrim in Coerthas. Just because I remember all the running I had to do there for leve turn-ins when I was leveling my crafters. >.>
With regards to the Hinterlands, it stands to reason that most Aetherytes are located in areas where there are settlements. Hinterlands doesn't really have such settlements outside of Idyllshire, which already has an Aetheryte. So there's not really anywhere to place one. It wouldn't make sense to place it in Illuminati territory or near Matoya's Cave. Neither of those would approve of an Aetheryte, I'm sure.

It like you actually have to travel places instead of just insta-traveling everywhere.
Traveling already made far too easy in this game, let not add more.
This post would only make sense if the game did not have things that last for 1 minute or less, like fates, hunts, and timed nodes.
Yes we need more spots in large zones to fit how the game is made, on top of not making sense on big zones like the ones in the sky, that those aethertes are near the foundation zones. So they are not exactly helpful.
There no fates that I know of that last for less then 1 minutes (they usually 8-15 minutes long), hunts are more a community problem then travel problem and timed nodes for like gathering spot in the same spot/pos area at the same time every game day so that not really a travel problem either as if a node pops at 10am and another node pops at 11am you would not make it to that node in time anyways regardless how fast travel is.This post would only make sense if the game did not have things that last for 1 minute or less, like fates, hunts, and timed nodes.
