cant find a dps job in this game that i don't have a problem with

why exactly are you asking this? you came up with examples that you were a pro in other mmos... same irrelevant argument than yours... I wouldn't take part in this discussions if i made the same mistake in my argumentation... just sayin' .___.

because saying "i'm the best" and "i have a lot of experience playing MMOs" to validate your opinion on game design are two completely different things. being the best poses no relevance. sure, you know a lot about the game but but if simply being the best and saying DPS jobs in this game wasn't boring, made them, well, not boring then this game would be doing a little better. i didn't say i raided top 100 to invalidate anyone's opinion. I said it because you seem to think getting two threat abilities, an ability that makes your attack hit twice and another attack ability completely changes the way a class is played.

Even Armor Crush, which is really great didn't really change how ninja plays. It just made it less of a hassle.

-you have drg on level 50 and saying it's too hard to do the positionals since you only have 2.

there is a pretty distinct difference between "not fun" and "too hard"

if a tank ruins your burst sequence by wasting your GCDs or causing an ability to become useless by being an idiot with sporadic positioning then DPS becomes unfun to play. it is not as bad to play DPS in raid with FC but to play DPS in DF with every whiny entitled tank who acts like a baby about everything is simply a nightmare. these assholes punish you for doing your best, and being primarily a tank player I find it very frustrating that some tanks act like this. All they are doing is slowing down the whole group and they revel in it like the narcissistic pricks they are.

What dps classes did people who hate the dps classes in this game play in other games if they think ffxiv dps is boring or simple or all the same? I'm not even trying to take a side in the argument, I'm simply curious. If possible, I'd be interested to know specific expansions as well.
