Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.

MOUAHAH And here was i thinking i was the only one bothered by this. When i played as Elezen, some bad lighting were so bad that made me few horrible with my character. Changed to hyur, and BANG, some places continue just as awfull muahaha. It bothers me a lot![]()
Maybe in the next next expansion?
We were the first to kill Ifrit.
I think I look good in any lighting.

Yes, actually. Only indoors, mostly in dim-lit rooms. Never happens in sunlight.I'm not that bad looking of a dude and my mother always said I was handsome, but when I am in a fairly lit room the lights serve to point out my oddly shaped face. They cast uneven shadows on seemingly random portions of my head and it makes me look like I'm about to do whatever it takes to make 95% HQ chance actually mean 95% in a dirty alleyway.
Here's Angstinaud sporting a nice even shading across his punchable face.
Anyone else got this issue?
I think it's probably because they made it so lighting is only rendered on the base character model and it doesn't really know what to do with different facial structures. That's the only explanation I can come up with, anyway.

So, turn up the character lighting from the options. HE areas default it to 0, boost it to 100 or for preference

I think its more the way the engine handles artificial light hitting the skin, like light from lamps fires and other such non-sun sources. It doesnt seem to recognise the body itself as a shadow casting body so all surfaces thats turned to the lightsource gets hit no matter if theres a hat or a puffy chin in the way. This makes it look unnatural cause we arent used to those features lighting irl.
As can be seen here the light does not care about alphis hair, hitting the cheeks and puffs his eyes making him look like a insomnic corpse. Very unsettling effect on some races. Lalafells are less affected by this due to their flat featureless faces. This is also why the lower lip often lights unnaturally on some races.

I noticed this too lol
When I loaded into roulette and saw this...oh dear.
