Scenario quests question

Since I had trouble getting leves and a way to level with a new char I am now playing a second job quest on my higher level character.

Since I was already about a level 19 (Arcanist) it is pretty good going but.....

I don't have any idea what scenario, main storyline quest my char (new job) has already done. Have no quests with the flameQ in my directory for this one, and when I go to quests completed it gives me all of the quest my main has done!

How can I find my storyline quest where I left off?

BTW I was nearly on my way out till I discovered my Rogue (brand new job) as a Ninja. My goodness, I just love playing that char!!!! I am really excited but will probably take me forever to get to the new new expansion comng out next mo

Open your journal and go to completed quests, make sure main scenario is selected and scroll down for your last quest. if you are past arr it continues to 7th umbral quests, hw ect...

A handy hint to remember is main scenario quests are designed to be a continuous story, in other words, the location where you complete a main scenario quest, the npc that has the next quest in the story will either be the exact same npc or someone in that immediate area. Accordingly, if you forget where you left off, look in the Journal under completed quests and Main Scenario quests, and take note of the quest summary for the last quest you completed. It will almost always mention the npc which that quest ended with and their general location.

If you're still having trouble finding the npc, this page can be helpful (in your journal take note of the title of the most recent main scenario quest you finished, and then check it's listing on the above page - the next quest it unlocks you can find through a link on the page for each quest.

If you're still playing the same character (your main or higher level character) and just adding a new job, then yes, it will show all the quests you've done with that character. While each class and job has its own questline in class/job quests, they don't each redo the main scenario. That one is once per character, not once per job.
