It's also going to be a pain in the ass when the people do buy the HQ items and the sales history gets distorted because of it.

People will think a NQ item is worth as much as an HQ if someone bought a lot of HQs recently. Or conversely the price of HQ will drop because people can only see the NQ price. Market prices will get all screwed up because of this.

edit: not to mention people manipulating markets by buying things from themselves etc. but that is another topic.
