I can understand the need for a gil sink but 5% is annoying. As someone who uses the wards a lot, a flat 250 gil fee would be much nicer.

250 gil does nothing at all, that's the point -- They're trying to get the economy in order because a quarter of a guildleve would negate a 250 tax, heck just selling off 2 dodoskins would negate that price.

It was just my crazy impression that this 'missing feature' was being added for everyone to save time. Not just for those that don't mind blowing extra money for a feature that should have been there since day one. Especially since it's double taxation.

It does save time and and it slowly works towards fixing this mess of an economy -- There's really no problems.
