I think that's it for me, btw:
"There is too much Gil in the game"
"Nothing to buy I have XXX million Gil"
"Money in this game is worthless"
"Money is so easy to get, they practically give it away"
etc...
Implement 5,000 gil charge for repairs
Implement 5,000 gil charge for airship
Implement 5% (max 4,000) gil charge for instant market ward transactions
WHY YOU GIL SINK MY SHIP!#!)$

I totally agree on materia, definitely one of their better gil sinks.I'm in the same boat as you. I spend enough time spamming enter while leveling crafts. It would be nice not to have to run around buying materials from retainers. And as far as gil sinks, I thought materia was like the best gil sink ever for people with hundreds of millions of gil? Trying to 3M or 4M items is only for people with that kind of money and plenty of them blow hundreds of millions of gil trying to do so.
But who knows what 2.0 will bring. The mannequin system might fix things and we might get a decent AH without all this run around MW bs.

This thread needs more pages.

I don't think Materia is gil sink at all actually. It stimulates the crafting economy surely, but is certainly not a sink.
