I will always support more final fantasy 9 stuff in this game. I will point out I am biased though because 9 is my favorite lol.

To me it's bad enough that both Stormblood raids will be evironments ripped off from other Final Fantasy so I'd rather have some original content for dungeons.
This could realistically make for an impressive new Deep Dungeon.
As long as our version of it doesn't end up a toss-in or otherwise unenthusiastic and ill-fitted fan service, then I would love to see... just about anything from FF9, to be honest. A highly adapted version of Burmencia and/or Cleyra have my vote though.
Oh exploring is cool and I've tired to tell them. Yoshida is really busy right now and isn't taking my calls - give him a momentlol. Of course for the player base to respond it'll have to be a reward that is substantive and useful for many groups (opening up paths without anything useful will just mean you're dragged down the corridor anyway xD).
I wish the world map encouraged exploring too, hidden quests and rewards throughout. (The view points are "okay" but they're quite strict and the rewards would probably only interest a very specific set of players lol).
Cleyra could be a really jaw dropping location in a full 3d pretty game like FFXIV, the shape of the tree and height could make a really great backdrop scenic view. Btw Burmecia broken or built?
Loved the castles in FFIX.. yeah just about everything lol.

I would like flashback exploring of 1.0 and seeing the clamitiy. I miss 1.0 mor dhona music. That music really fit the mood of being in a high level area with anything ready to kill you.
I don't know what to make of Cleyra being in FFXIV, or where they'd put it. Or how to fit it into the lore. Maybe somewhere near Ala Mhigo? Still, it would make a very interesting area unlike anything we've really seen before, in that it's an extremely three-dimensional area that branches out in every direction, and wouldn't be limited to 2 dimensions like every other city. Unfortunately though, I can see a city like that nestled in a giant tree would put a lot of rendering strain on console and average PC users.
On the whole, an appetizing idea that I'd like to see, but if I had to choose between the two I'd still want to see Memoria more.
But I think we're getting the same feel as Chocobo's Paradise/Chocobo's Lagoon in the area showcased in the first Stormblood trailer. Rhalgr's Reach, I think it was called?
