I like that idea, yes it's a Gil sink, but it gives the player the option. I posted something like that a while back, but the surcharge fee only was applied to items in the different cities and acted like a delivery fee. (in my post)the markets where linked.

Still, from the sound of the root server, and the notes they posted, that the market revisions are taking some serious coding time.
