From the posted notes, it says the following will be viewable when you select a player from your search results:

    Levels for each class
    * The icon for the current class will be a different color.
    Grand Company

Also, if you look at the screenshot, it shows an example. The number in each class's icon is the level they have that class at.

im concerned about the fact that the search window does not show players with more than 1 language selected. Are we going to be able to select more than one language if we are capable of speaking and understanding that? If we can only select 1 then its going to limit our party chances.

We Need to be able to seek on multiple classes.

The #1 reason why people waited up over Six hours for a party in XI is because they had to pick one class and stick with it to seek. This very serious issue can be resolved by simply allowing us to pick and choose which classes we want to seek on simultaneously.
I came here just to say this, so I'll just like and quote for more awareness!

Please please, PLEASE let us have multiple "preferred classes"! I'd like to search on both my Conjurer and Gladiator at the same time, even better yet if I can do it while doing leves with my Miner!

Loving the preferred class thing. It's something i wish was added in XI but never was (at least while i was there). Means i don't have to sit around doing nothing on the class i want an invite for while seeking woot

Just the ideas of running a leve and seeing someone else running a leve with a seeking party flag set, with how I play, would have me form a party with that player, rather then leave them alone as I don't want to "bother" them.

    Looking forward to the updates

I agree but we need something flashier, for this is FF14! A flag of some sort like that of the warriors used in war.

I pretty sure your search results will show only your current class and preferred class your looking to party with. If what I learned is true, the seeker will see all your other classes and levels. I'm sure some people would like to keep it private for we all hate to be told what to do.

The only function the "preferred class" holds is that you seek for party while you on another class. Please, please be aware the armory system because this isn't like FFxi where you're (say) a war seeking for party while mining and all you have to do is stay the same job and trade pick-axes. Here at-least resolved this issue but no- it's not good enough for you.

People will probably be able to see you other classes if you set you search comment or if they click your name(open up another window), read the announcement again. As far as I'm concerned, I'm grateful and can't ask for more.

This is definetely a welcome improvement but I feel this featue needs more work in the future and these are my suggestions:

    - Ability to set multiple "preferred classes". Most people can play multiple roles and do not care which it is as long as they get to do the content they want. As the search window stands now, if I select "conjurer" as my preferred class, I won't show on the list of someone searching for a lancer, even though I could also fulfill that role.
The ability to view all my classes by clicking on my search entry is irrelevant here since I won't appear in said search list to begin with

    - Ability to select "purpose" from a drop down list (default to: all). This list should contain a list of all available dungeons in the game + other typical group activities such as "experience points", "seeking crafter" etc. You could use this to quickly filter, for example, "all players looking for ifrit"

*can't read* Does it really not mention anywhere something about searching a person's name? Do I really have to go into a menu to do this or will there be text commands? Do they really have to set it up to make themselves able to come up on my searches in any way?

I may have missed something while attempting to read. But if those are all true... this search system is worthless and just a more detailed version of what we already have.
