This is a Massive Step in the right direction. There is only one thing that stands out as missing.

We Need to be able to seek on multiple classes.

The #1 reason why people waited up over Six hours for a party in XI is because they had to pick one class and stick with it to seek. This very serious issue can be resolved by simply allowing us to pick and choose which classes we want to seek on simultaneously.

I came here just to say this, so I'll just like and quote for more awareness!

Please please, PLEASE let us have multiple "preferred classes"! I'd like to search on both my Conjurer and Gladiator at the same time, even better yet if I can do it while doing leves with my Miner!

Is the search range is the player all class or current active class? It is pretty useless if current active class only.

I'm not sure, I'd have to say it's active class, but it looks like we can change it to display all lvls anyway if I understand them correctly.

Preferred Class
This can only be selected from the pull-down menu when your online status is set to “Seeking a Party.”

You pick what class you want to play as from a drop-down menu. Just that alone makes it immediately better than 11's.

Out of all the announcements this morning, this was the only one I truly liked. The dying system and auction system were pretty underwhelming.

I'm also liking the suggestions I'm seeing for crafters looking for work. It'd be nice to see this implemented somehow.

Yay! I can go chop down trees and seek for a Stronghold party as CNJ. I hope it is easy to use so everyone starts using it right away.

Now we get to worry about whether the servers can handle everyone using the PC search at the same time.

Very very happy to see this, no more will i just sit in town crafting looking for those party shouts! Now i can Go off and solo Leves or Mine! I love you SE this right here makes the game for me

I have a question. I know ill be slammed with "Can you read" but i want to know if we search someone it shows all the job we leveled? I dunno if i like that if true. If i want to seek i wonna seek on the job im seeking on. I dont wonna seek on MRD and have someone say please bring your ARC. I hope that is not the case.
