    Anyone else hate the 'support desk' system in game?

    I reported someone from 72man PvP for literally doing nothing (Zeros in all stats)

    I talked to a GM

    Then after they left I got the 'Your Support Desk query has been answered. To view the reply, access Recent Replies & Notices located under the Support Desk's Information tab.'

    What's really annoying? I've brought up this issue with many GMs, and even multiple threads on the forums here.

    Right now, every time I go into/leave an instance, I KEEP SEEING THIS DAMN ANNOUNCEMENT.

    sometimes it lasts for an hour or two, but in the past I've had it act up FOR AN ENTIRE DAMN WEEK.

    I don't care if I seem aggressive this point. I've brought up this issue with GMs and multiple threads since 2.X, and not a damn thing has been done about this.

    Open the response from the support desk history tab. Don't press Close (next to Reply).
    It's marked as read and won't (or shouldn't) notify you anymore.

    Been there, done that. I've tried every possible way to get rid of the popups, and they last a while every time. I've been hesitant in reporting people because of it.

    I'm not sure what your problem here is right now - is that that you reported that person and nothing happend, so you've reported them again and again and are now annoyed that you're just getting told every time that they cant tell you anything?
    Or is it that even after you closed the whole conversation the message still appears?

    If its the later: file a bug-report, afaik they're aware that this problem exists, but it cant hurt to bring it to their attention again.

    I've brought it to their attention every time it's happened by telling GMs about it, filling bug reports, and making posts on the forum about it. This has been going on for years and nothing has been done to fix it.

    We can't even turn off the announcement across the screen that keeps appearing from it.

    I've suffered this same problem. And yeah, it's stopped me reporting people because I didn't want to deal with the endless reply message spam. Every single time I enter or leave an instance I would get it. I'm really glad the new rmt report system doesn't give replies or I would never do it.

    Yes, the system is bad because:

    If I look at something, not even close it, I can't reply to a different letter. I have to completely close it out otherwise I am spammed with "unable to send report, please try again"
    It is slow to load, and often you have to close it out and do it again because "nothing to display"
    Closing out something/ going to the letter does not stop the support messages to keep reappearing
    The GMs expect you to figure out what ticket goes with what by the numbers since they may be slow to respond, making it possible to get useless auto messages that does not fit the ticket to begin with (more with NA center, not with EU, never had that issue) to cause even more confusion.

    Go to the support desk, open the most recent reply, click "Close", game on. Not seeing how this is a problem.
