    My God. I cringe just thinking of the damage this would do to the blade. Sure, we can implement this, as long as moving/running with the sword dragging inflicts durability damage to it.

    Then again, female characters DO plunge the thing into the ground as part of their idle stance, which isn't much better...

    the DRK is a tank class. he holds his sword in a defensive stance before him, to parry incoming attacks. dragging the sword behind would let him defenseless and break some immersion. so no, dragging the sword would maybe fit a dps class, but not a tank.

    I'm thinking of Vindictus' Hurk, who runs with his 2h sword in the same manner OP describes. There's heat sparks but no noise.

    Also, while this is animation fluff and I'm not against it, I really don't see how it fits practically. Stylish perhaps but impractical
