In a game mode that is designed as a player skill challenge, the monkey with an attack buff used a tank buster on the healer and instagibbed them. I fail to see why this should be surprising at all.
lol haha you died
Well rekt good sir
Do not think it is just referring to that but if it is you are right.
Also I am trying to see if this has to do with the "animation lock" issue, that vid in specific, and I think it does, with how I view things. You can see the BRD finished casting straight shot before the SCH died, but the buff was not applied yet. As it was walking away, the animation hit it, then he got the straight shot buff while being immune.
Another possibility the OP may be referring to is why did it walk back and come back again? It is a weird thing with this game. When a monster kills everyone that had hate on it (this case only the SCH even though animation lock/slow processing prevented the brd to be on the list as well) It goes to reset. However, while resetting, people can get on the hate list again (BRD and PLD hit it while it was walking back) so it came back to whoever was on the hate list after the reset. Since shield lob has enmity attached to it, it walked back for the PLD.
huh, thought straight shot buff applied right away, didn't think it was that slow.

you got 3-4 times a vulnup so you just get killed by everything who hits you next. And mobs have to hit a target first before they change their target.
Oh, cool. I didn't know the floors looked different past 100.
There only a few thing you need to remember,
*Don't get mad if people skip blue chest, it happens and you will get them in due time.
*Speed runs are a must.
*Know your items Know when to use them, how they work, and ask for help
*After floor 30 stay in group
*To venture pass floor 100 Recommended to be 99/99 on lights
*For floors 100+ a healer in group is recommend if planning to go to floor 200
*Bomb traps will help a lot in later runs. Learn and use them to your advantage.
*Clear first 100 floors solo This will test your survival skills and will make groups runs a lot easier.
*To avoid traps, Try to hug sides ( Less chances of traps ) and range pull into corridors. Safer battles.
For bosses : Use Lust always to make run faster, stick to mechanics.
NOTE: Floor are at random and TOP THING TO REMEMBER IF YOU DON'T KNOW, ASK!!! This is more of a basic points guide. As you become more experience you will understand mechanics better. Also Try to clear up to floor 100 Solo. It is to your benefit and will help you understand how stealth and speed is necessary.

Not really. Splitting up to find the cairn of passage first is better, especially because on classes like BLM staying in group means you're doing basically nothing as everything dies before you get a cast off. On the other hand, if I go off by myself, I can pop Enochian and clear a room in about the same time it takes the other three people to do the same. You do need to be slightly more mindful of what you're doing because pulling multiple mobs only to hit a landmine or get a random spawn or pop a luring trap can be a bad time, but it's not like it's dangerous if you just pay attention.
