Personally I can do without pit stains in my video games, but to each their own.

Because they have one hell of a metabolism, don't you know? Every single video-game protagonist must meet this requirement. It's why they're the main character.
If you're gonna ask this question, you're gonna have to answer this question first: Why are you back in that dungeon, when the original reason/problem that drew you there in the first place has been solved? Why do enemies respawn in dungeons and raids? Once you clear it they should be gone.
That's right, you're repeating the same events as before, and that to me, is breaking my immersion! Monster.
Although this I agree with, down with popoto's!Why are Lalafell tanks a thing...? This completely ruins any immersion anyone may have.

Look at all the AAA games out there. A lot of them are photorealistic and have great immersion.
Now, I love FF14 but sometimes I feel like I'm not actually the character in another world... but that I'm actually playing a game. Given this is a role-playing game more can and should be done to improve the situation.
1. Why don't characters sweat? A long hike on Sohm Al should make any person, even the Warrior of Light, sweat profusely.
2. Why do enemies respawn in dungeons and raids? Once you clear it they should be gone.
3. Why are Lalafell tanks a thing...? This completely ruins any immersion anyone may have.
4. Why is food not essential? Why is the Warrior of Light able to survive days without food?
The list goes on and on but suffice to say my immersion is broken at every turn in this game.![]()

5- Since immersion is broken everywhere for you, why continue playing this game? Why not return to the "realism" of your AAA games and we--the many who have much lower threshold for immersion-will continue playing it.Look at all the AAA games out there. A lot of them are photorealistic and have great immersion.

Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.

Better question though why does it bother you so why does this affect your enjoyment and immersion of the game these little annoyance as I guess you could call them

This is a troll thread, I don't believe he's being serious. He did made another topic earlier about how ugly Elezens are.

well, ffxiv doesnt really make sense in most things...its an unpredictable pattern.
They sometimes DO randomly add some realism to spoil the fun:
Remember Fish tanks? I have to choose between sea water and fresh water? SRSLY?! Just let me combine whichever fish I like!
but then on the other hand....... desynthesizing fish will give you bikinis.
Because duh, obviously!
Have you been watching too much Sword Art Online?
