Just out of curiosity as we are a month ish away from expansion. Are we gonna be getting it anytime soon or are they done nerfing the Anima steps?
Cheers!

Based on 3.0, 4.0 will almost certainly nerf it to double light gained. And they'll nerf it once more in 4.1 or 2 to quadruple light gained.

So no light nerf before expansion?
very much doubt they'll do nerf pre-expansion. its something that can be done in a few hours if you get a good group going with some lucky bonuses.
They never increased light gain during 2.x, so it's unlikely that the anima weapon will be any different, in that regard.
Geesh, I've been on it for over a month with like, one and a half of the two runes glowing. Is there some sort of secret?
Run A1S. Check if there's a bonus (sturdy instead of robust). If there is a bonus, spam the sh*t out of it until it's gone.
Alternatively, spam A9S with a competent party.
Spam a1s or a9s when they have bonus. With bonus a1s is 24 light per 4 minutes including requeuing (unless bad queue time), so that's 360 light per hour. You need 2k light for all 10 runes. For a9s it's 48 light per 6-8ish minutes I guess, with no cd reset and wipes. Could be sub 5 minutes with competent groups, but not a realistic number to expect from average DF/PF.
Btw a1s is pretty much like a1 normal now, should have near 100% clear rate.
