does the MCH get better at lvl 60

hi,I am now lvl 47 with my Mch. I really like this class because i think its the hardest class to master by far but even though i give my maximal effort every dungeons, it seem the reward is not here ... i mean my dps is far from bad but if i do exaclty the same amount of efforts playing my ninja or my monk than i do with my gunner, imma do more. Also the gunner dont have a lot utility compared to the bard and its aoe dps is also way weaker ( A bard that use is burning ground,put his dot on many targets then spam its aoe atk and the aoe version of bloodletter everytime it tick is hard to beat when we talk about multi-target DPS )

So does the gunner have the sames issues at lvl 60? if its dps is still a bit lower than average does it learn some great utility spells that make it worth using it in high lvl content ??

Well, I'm not playing it at high level but I had the exact same feeling when I leveled it.

I can only say that job are balanced around having all their Tools and not around the level they are.
Machinist requiring an important buff and turret to properly do damage (and at lv 47 I think you've none of those), your damage is substantially llower.

It won't feel particularly outstanding until later. I don't know if I could pinpoint when exactly it'll strike you, but it does get better. When you first pull off a full opener with all of your skills you'll feel buzzing, promise! Big milestones are Gauss Barrel / Round, and Hypercharge. MCH utility isn't bad, second only to BRD, arguably on par or better. Physical Hypercharge is very strong for both your personal DPS and melees, and Dismantle/Rend Mind are overlooked progression tools. Also because they don't use MP to use their resistance debuffs they should typically always have a high supply ready to restore MP/TP to others. AOE isn't bad either. I think the turrets give the impression they're not doing much because of their staggered sustain, but it does really add up. Its damage potential at end-game is also particularly obscene considering all the utility they give. On launch it was considered little effort:reward ratio, now I would say that's not the case at all. In any case it sounds like you're interested enough in the concept, I would definitely recommend continuing to level.

Yes. It does get a lot better at level 60.
It can stun, bind, silence, lower magic or physical damage.
Can restor MP and TP. Also buff physical or magic damage.
You will be casting alot less than a Bard.

yeah I raised my Mch to 60 some weeks ago as well and truly fall in love with the job playstyle - im still in intuitive rota mode, so nothing from me to max dmg here - but like Yeol said most of the cls-core concept is still waiting for ya. you will get a castbar like Brds as well but you definitely have more insta procs and utility skills for insta casts than Brd yet that alone differs a lot in direct comparison. Plus swapping your turrets in and out is just a fresh feeling after I main Smn and am hardly used to a "pet".

Once you pull off a 13-15k Wildfire, you'll appreciate the job a lot more.
