My inventories are filled to the brim with crafting mats. The last thing I need is Inventory -4 from those pieces of junk. I already have pumpkin heads, egg helmets, bathing suits, an earring, a samurai helmet with bunny ears and dream attire mats collecting dust.

It's really just a matter of preference. The only concern when playing a video game should be, "Is what I'm doing right now fun?" Some people will find collecting all their grand company gear fun. Others will find it mundane.
