GPU issue concerning the benchmark

As I understand it, with the laptops with two graphics cards it only presents the basic Intel card to things unless it knows to do otherwise (probably to make sure that the application in question doesn't use the more powerful/more battery hungry one by mistake. So basically in this case the benchmark program doesn't even get to see the other GPU so you can't select it.

Your GPU software likely has a (constantly updating?) list of applications it knows should use the more powerful card, but in this case it doesn't yet have any knowledge of the benchmark application to offer it the other graphics card. You'd likely need to go into the GPU/AMD software and look for an option to add the benchmark application as using the other card or possibly when you run the application you can right-click (instead of double left-click) and there may be an option on that menu to force onto the other GPU (I've seen that option on a few machines).
